PhD, Director of Technology and Innovation
A physicist with more than ten years of experience, Yamina Ghomchi is a specialist in complex instrumentation. She joined Genomic Vision as a project manager for R&D Instrumentation, before becoming head of the Technology & Innovation Department.
Yamina Ghomchi began her career in 1997 at the Meudon Observatory, while working on her doctoral thesis, as a research engineer in the Laboratory of Space Studies and Instrumentation in Astrophysics (LESIA), where she helped to develop an instrument for the ESA Rosetta space mission. She went on to join Atmel Grenoble, as Test & Characterisation Engineer, and then worked as a Segime (Altran Group) consultant for projects in the field of high-precision optical systems.
She holds an engineering degree from the ENSPS (Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Physique de Strasbourg) and a doctorate in physics (Astrophysics and Related Instrumentation) from the University of Paris-VI.
